Early Support That Strengthens Families
Baby SPARKS in partnership with SCORE PCN provides a safe, inclusive and welcoming space where parents and babies can access early help during one of the most important stages of life.
Our groups are built on trust, consistency and relationship-based practice, enabling staff to respond sensitively to the varied and often complex needs of families.
We pay particular attention to the emotional well-being of new mums, recognising the increased risk of anxiety, isolation and reduced confidence during the perinatal and postnatal period.
Because our environment feels safe and non-judgmental, parents are able to openly discuss concerns about their own well-being, their baby’s development or wider family circumstances. This allows for timely signposting, supported referrals and early intervention - preventing issues from escalating and reducing pressure on statutory services.
Engagement & Reach
Over the past year, Baby SPARKS welcomed 4,580 adults, toddlers and babies across 144 sessions in Barrowcliff, Eastfield and the town centre. Families can weigh their babies on our calibrated scales, meet others in similar situations, and build supportive friendships that continue outside the group.
Support & Enrichment
Alongside emotional support and practical advice, families benefit from a range of enrichment activities and specialist input, helping to build confidence, reduce anxiety, strengthen connections and support healthy development for both babies and their families.
Strong Partnership Working
