We are delighted to announce that Sparks Project CIO has been named a finalist in two categories at the National Charity Today Awards 2026.
Sparks has been shortlisted for:
Partnership of the Year
Mental Health Impact Award
The National Charity Today Awards celebrate charities and organisations making a difference across the UK, and Sparks has been selected from hundreds of nominations.
The judging panel highlighted the quality, impact and evidence presented in our submissions, something we are incredibly proud of.
Michelle Davison-Ward, CEO of Sparks, said:
“Being shortlisted in two award categories is a huge achievement for Sparks and something we are incredibly proud of.
“It reflects the commitment of our team, trustees, volunteers, partners and everyone who takes part in our services.
“To see the work we are doing here in Scarborough acknowledged on a national stage means a great deal to all of us.”
The two categories reflect areas that sit at the heart of our work.
Partnership working is central to how Sparks supports people across Scarborough, working alongside local organisations and services to make help more accessible within the community.
Mental health and wellbeing also remain a major part of what we do, through our groups, activities, counselling, community support and wider health and wellbeing work.
The finalists will come together at the National Charity Today Awards Gala Lunch this October, when the winners will be announced.
For now, we are simply very proud to have reached the final in two award categories.
Keep your fingers crossed for us! 🤞
